Curtain making day. I bought this reflective material similar to umbrella material. I figured the reflective side would act like a radiant heat barrier and I could then flip them when it was cold to put the black side out to absorb heat. I used this pizza cutter looking fabric knife and some amazing scissors to cut it, highly recommend both. The “sewing machine” I bought was more a kids novelty toy then a sewing machine. It sewed at a 15 degree angle instead of straight, just had to turn the machine to the right angle, but it worked and was dirt cheap. I used 1/2″ PVC pipe for the curtain rod and long self tapping screws with oversize nuts behind as spacers. It worked, but I’m going to find something else. I also sewed in some Stainless Fender washers into the bottom for weight since this material was super lightweight.
