Decided to fire up the bus tonight and run it for awhile. First the ignition takes about 20 cycles on and off before the relay engages and I can actually turn over the motor, so that sucks. I’m guessing ignition switch or ignition relay. Then once it’s running it runs really rough for about 2 mins and cleans up, which I’m guessing is an injector….again.. Then after running about 5 mins I hear a pop and a new hissing sound. Look under the rear and find hydraulic fluid spraying everywhere. Run back up front and kill the bus asap! Neat. Anyone want to buy a bus? This thing is telling me to stop.

There was at least 3 gallons spraying everywhere before I shut the engine down and it slowed to a drip. Spent the next few hours using every shop rag I could find to mop it up. I’ve had it for today, time to crack a cold snack or 12 and relax and think about what cliff I can push this off.

The next day I went out to assess the damage. Looks like the main high pressure hose that goes from the back of the hydraulic pump to the splitter has a tiny pin hole in it. It’s too hot out to work on. I’ll get back to it later.
